Everything you need to know about the Belmont Stakes - Saturday 6/6

It is a mission to get out there. Below is information for guests on transportation. All car companies will have a minimum. As an example, Golden Touch is requiring a 6 hour minimum just to make a reservation.

DRIVING
Traveling South on the Cross Island Parkway:
• Use 26D for access to the Green Parking Lot or Exit 26B for access to the Hempstead Avenue entrance
Traveling North on the Cross Island Parkway
• Use Exit 26A for access to the Yellow Parking Lot or Exit 26B for access to the Hempstead Avenue entrance
Parking Areas
For ease of entry and exiting of Belmont Park, guests are encouraged to park in a lot based on their planned arrival route. All Parking Gates Open at 10:45 am on Friday, June 5 and 8:00 am on Saturday June 6.
GREEN LOT
ARRIVAL: Direct entrance from Southbound Cross Island Parkway
DEPARTURE: Exit onto Northbound Cross Island Parkway
YELLOW LOT
ARRIVAL: Direct entrance from Northbound Cross Island Parkway
DEPARTURE: Exit onto Southbound Cross Island Parkway
BLUE/WHITE LOT
ARRIVAL: Direct entrance from Gate 8 on Plainfield Avenue
DEPARTURE: Exit Left (Northbound) onto Plainfield towards Floral Park
PREFERRED PARKING SILVER, CLUBHOUSE AND RED LOT
ARRIVAL: Enter thru Gates 5 and 3 onto Hempstead Avenue
DEPARTURE: Exit East only from Gate 5 and West only from Gate 3 onto Hempstead Avenue
Please note all routes are subject to change based on traffic conditions.
Please note that there is limited availability in the Silver and Gold parking lots on Belmont Stakes Day - Saturday, June 6th. Parking passes can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com, while supplies last.
BELMONT SHUTTLE
For your convenience, shuttle buses will continuously run throughout the parking lots during the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, June 4-6, to bring guests to the following entrances at Belmont Park: Clubhouse Main Entrance, Paddock Gate and West Paddock Gate, commonly known as the Bus Gate.
LIRR
LIRR Trains will be running throughout the day and evening throughout the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival.
With large crowds expected on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6 of the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, we encourage our guests to stay in Belmont Park and enjoy our post-race concerts featuring O.A.R. and the Goo Goo Dolls. This will significantly reduce your wait time while exiting the facility.
Also, we encourage our guests to purchase round-trip admission in order to further expedite their travels.
Please note, immediately following the Belmont Stakes race on Saturday, June 6 until Belmont Park closes, trains will depart approximately every 15 minutes to Jamaica, Brooklyn and New York. Additionally, trains will continue to run following the O.A.R. concert on Friday, June 5 until Belmont Park closes.
